Alice Cooper to Attend Motor City Comic Con This Fall | Local music | Detroit

Rock star Alice Cooper will be one of the celebrity guests at Motor City Comic Con this fall, organizers announced Tuesday.

The 74-year-old artist will be at the convention for all three days, October 14-16, available for autographs and to pose for photos with fans.

Other celebrity guests include professional wrestler Anna Jay, comedian James “Murr” Murray, Taken actor Clive Standen, The Walking Dead actress Laurie Holden, comedian Jamie Farr and MASH POTATOES* actress Loretta Swit.

Motor City Comic Con takes place from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 14. 16 at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46199 Grand River Ave., Novi. Tickets start at $35 for ages 13 and up, with VIP passes available.

Cooper supports his latest album, Detroit Stories, reminiscent of when he performed during the Detroit classic rock era. Although he has no upcoming dates in Detroit, his round stops Sunday, September 11 at the Colosseum next door to Caesars in Windsor, Ontario, and Wednesday, September 21 at DeVos Hall in Grand Rapids.
