Apex Legends Season 15 – What We Learned!

It was quite a difficult season for Apex Legends. Of course, we had amazing additions. There are the Gaden Event and Advantage. But the number of players continues to decrease. Now, Apex Legends Season 15 could bring some hope to players.

Player frustration with the current map, Storm Point, appears to be overwhelming. Now the card does not bother me. Many players don’t really care what cards they play. Still, the player count always seems to drop when Storm Point enters the rotation.

Thus, it is great news to know that the new season adds a new map. And, there are also a bunch of interesting possibilities. We have a possible new weapon, Legends and more content. Also, we could get more information about the traditions of Seer.

So let’s see what the new season has in store for us. For more information, I recommend The RockPaperShotgun article.

Divided Moon: the new card arrives on Apex Legends

Easily the biggest addition to Season 15 is Divided Moon. The last map added to the game was Storm Point. Still, it was released way back in season 11. Unfortunately, the final map isn’t a player’s favorite.

It’s also a big departure from the last map approach. Storm Point is the largest map in the game. Instead, Divided Moon is the second-smallest battle royale arena. It’s barely bigger than Olympus.

It is also a leveled card. This means that there is no overall slope. But, moon rocks break the line of sight. According to other articles, it’s comparable to Kings Canyon.

Additionally, the card appears to share several features with Olympus. It also looks like Respawn is playing with gravity mechanics. We can find chasms with floating rocks, for example.

Finally, the card appears to feature a moving train. The train is similar to that of World’s Edge. It will constantly scan the map. This will make it easier for players to move around the map. Therefore, we might not see our usual Tridents on the new map.

Along the same lines, the new map pool appears to be removing Storm Point. Instead, we’ll have Divided Moon. And, the GameLeap video above infers that Olympus or World’s Edge could be the other additions.

A new character is coming to Apex Legends Season 15

Upcoming legends with gameplay part 2 of ApexDiscovered

As everyone knows, a new season also means a new Legend for the roaster. Apex Legends season 15 is certainly no exception. Still, it’s a bit too early to say for sure who will be joining the cast of characters.

That said, most articles suggest the same theory: Catalyst. In the video above, we can see an early prototype of the character. The “creative builder” description seems to tell you everything about Catalyst.

His abilities are less suited to direct combat or gathering information. Instead, she is able to create simple structures to alter the battlefield.

His passive ability boosts your structures and teammates when you’re nearby. His tactical ability allows him to create up to three ramps (or platforms on the walls). Additionally, her ultimate creates a tower below her, pushing you upwards.

Everything indicates that Catalyst will be the next legend of the game. But, we still don’t know anything about its history. Some fans think she might be Crypto’s adoptive sister. Others think she could be Xenia Contreras, Vantage’s mother.

However, there is another interesting development. Players have noticed Husaria among the Apex Legends files. In case you didn’t know, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard the name. Husaria was a previous character in the works. Eventually, she became Mad Maggie.

Or, did she?

If so, then why is she back in the files? The main theory is that Husaria is the code name for the next legend. Naturally, that means we could still be talking about Catalyst.

But, some leakers undermined Husaria’s abilities.

His passive is a leg shotgun that fires when meleeing enemies or doors. It uses shotgun ammo. Additionally, using abilities increases your speed. His tactical ability is a simple flashbang that blinds and deafens. Finally, his ultimate is a burst charge for traps, doors, and enemies.

That said, players compared these abilities to an earlier iteration of Mad Maggie. Mad Maggie also has a shotgun related passive and speed boosts. His tactical ability also passes through walls to damage enemies on the other side.

What else in store for players in the new season?

A possible new weapon also got fans excited. Before, Respawn used to release a new weapon every season. However, this custom has been lost over time. The final weapon was the CAR SMG from Season 11.

According to Respawn, this is because the weapon pool is good as it is now. I can agree with that. Still, it’s always nice to see new content spice up the gameplay.

Back in Season 14, Respawn intended to add the Nemesis Burst Assault Rifle. The gun was leaked in the Season 10 trailer. Naturally, players expected it to be around Season 13. publish so soon.

However, the weapon seemed almost ready to be released. It is therefore easy to understand why most theories point in this direction. So what do we know about the weapon?

Well, we don’t know much, unfortunately. We can only assure you that it will be an energy assault rifle. It will also fire in bursts, like the Hemlok. It fires in bursts of 4 rounds. The twist comes with the charge when hitting enemies. When fully charged, it is fully automatic.

The video below shows how it works.

But it’s not the only weapon in development. We also have the fanatical pistol. These are akimbo (dual purpose) guns. You can also load them for a stronger shot for a higher ammo cost.

Curiously, there is also an automatic crossbow. It can load up to 16 arrows by default. And it works like any SMG or assault rifle. The difference lies in its silent ammunition.

There are also Gemini. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary energy SMG. That’s until you have two in your inventory. Indeed, inflicting damage with one of them recharges your unused Gemini. So you can constantly switch between them instead of reloading.

Finally, there’s the Maelstrom LMG. It’s a Light Ammo LMG that grants you five extra bullets per takedown. Nevertheless, the Spitfire has just been revamped for Light Ammo. This could mean that the Maelstrom is not needed at the moment.

Finally, we have the leaked Battle Pass and event content from leaker @SenosApex. You can see the message above.

The battle pass will include cosmetics for Ash, Revenant, Loba, and Seer. It also has a bunch of character frames and weapon skins.

The first event will be Magic Snowbeast. He will bring a legendary skin from Newcastle. Unconfirmed legendaries include Crypto, Bangalore, and Valkyrie. It also has epic skins for Gibraltar, Horizon, Mad Maggie, Mirage, and Wraith.

Finally, the Magic Witch event seems to only bring epic character skins. In this case we have Ash, Lifeline, Rampart and Valkyrie. Revenant also gets an epic skin and a rare frame.

Of course, I don’t even touch the weapon skins. We can expect epic skins for weapons like Sentinel, Rampage, Alternator, and R301.
