Want to know which comics are trending each week and why?COVRPRICE.COM uses live sales analytics to identify and compile the market’s most robust price guide, highlighting the hottest trending comics each week. No opinion. Just data. Every week they feature a newly updated TOP 10 COMICS list. These trends are driven by rumors, fan-favorite covers, story-based content, and content-related news.

NOTE: THIS WEEK’S LIST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM DISNEY+’S BOBA FETT BOOK – EPISODE 3 and the recent Marvel comic book release of THOR #20.

This week’s TOP 10 should look familiar to last week’s list, with a few new additions. Black Krrsantan is back on the list with three related spots. Thor #20 returns to the list this week thanks to the big reveal that Mjolnir is alive and calling himself THE GOD OF HAMMERS! The Humberto Ramos Miss Minutes variant for Marvel’s TIMELESS #1 continues its streak for the third straight week. This week, one of the new Top 10 kids features the first appearance of Elsa Bloodstone’s sister, Lyra, in DEATH OF DOCTOR STRANGE: BLOODSTONE #1. The three covers of this first issue are represented here. Another new addition is Nina Price, aka VAMPIRE BY NIGHT, who is trending after some possible ties to Laura Donnely’s recent casting in Disney+’s WEREWOLF BY NIGHT HALLOWEEN SPECIAL. Finally, Elektra as DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR gets her first solo series after taking over over a year ago in Daredevil #25. While you might be wondering where Moon Knight is, he JUST missed the cut since this list was filled Sunday night. However, don’t worry; he’ll be a big part of next week’s list as his books gain popularity throughout the week. Meanwhile, we’ve added a finalist this week as an appetizer for the coming Moon Knight storm. Enjoy!

BONUS PURPOSE:

#11 MOON KNIGHT #1 | WONDER | 2014 As noted, the full Disney+ trailer JUST missed our Top 10 cut this week. However, the quick teaser that was released on Friday was just enough to create traction for this particular issue of Moon Knight which features the first full appearance of Mr. Knight, Marc Spector’s adapted version of Moon Knight (although he is first appeared in costume two, unnamed, years before in Secret Avengers #19). In the trailer, there’s a brief scene of Marc Spector wearing white gloves and a suit that resembles Mr. Knight’s suit. It could be an easter egg in the series, or perhaps the Disney+ series will go over its different styles. Note that this scene was not shown in the full trailer. Either way, Mr. Knight’s books are quickly heating up with a high sale of $380 for a CGC 9.8 and a current FMV of $40.

Now let’s move on to the TOP 10:

#ten DAREDEVIL: FEARLESS WOMAN #1 JEN BARTEL (1:50) | WONDER | 2022 It’s been a little over a year since Elektra first took on the role of Daredevil in DAREDEVIL #25. At the time, it was the hottest book of the month, with all covers landing in our Top 10 and dominating the list for weeks. But then it cooled off with values dropping significantly a few months later. Many thought Elektra as Daredevil would be short lived (like 2 or 3 short lived issues). However, a year later, she is staring in her own title as DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR. This gorgeous cover by Jen Bartel was the star of the covers and was hot right off the bat, reaching a high sale of $204 for a raw print, with a current FMV of $168.

#9 INCREDIBLE FANTASY #10 | WONDER | 2005 Actress Laura Donnely was recently cast in Disney+’s WEREWOLF BY NIGHT HALLOWEEN SPECIAL. While it’s unconfirmed who she will portray, many are speculating about the actress playing Nina Price, Vampire by Night. In the comics, Nina is the niece of Jack Russell, the original Night Werewolf. It’s also important to remember that it hasn’t been confirmed which actor from Werewolf by Night’s version Gael García Bernal will portray. Still, that was enough to help its first appearance in this issue hit a high sale of $650 for a CGC 9.8 and a gross FMV of $94.

#8 STAR WARS: DARK VADER #3 | WONDER | 2015 BOOK OF BOBA FETT – EPISODE 2 surprised everyone and briefly introduced Black Krrsantan (BK), a Wookie Bounty Hunter. His various covers and key appearances are on fire. However, the big question is whether or not Doctor Aphra exists. Having worked closely with BK through his various series, his appearance is testament to his existence and possible future appearance. Its first appearance reached a high sale of $600 for a CGC 9.8 with a current gross FMV of $199.

#seven DEATH OF DOCTOR STRANGE: BLOODSTONE #1 – MARIA WOLF | WONDER | 2022 If you haven’t been paying attention to the market, Elsa Bloodstone has been hot on the secondary market, with her first appearance in BLOODSTONE #1 (2001) and many of its variant covers have increased in market value. And now, with the introduction of this issue from her sister, Lyra Bloodstone, that heat has instantly set all the covers of this issue on fire. This “B” hedge hit a sell high of $17 and is trending at a FMV of $12.

#6 TIMELESS #1 – HUMBERTO RAMOS – MISS MINUTES VARIANT | WONDER | Miss Minutes 2021 is back in the Top 10 for its 3rd week in a row. It’s still a book that fans actively seek out. This week, it achieved a high sale of $68 for a raw copy, with a current FMV of $49.

#5 DEATH OF DOCTOR STRANGE: BLOODSTONE #1 – IG GUARA – DESIGN (1:10) | WONDER | 2022 As noted, Lyra’s first appearance is clearly driving aftermarket sales. IG Guara’s 1:10 features Lyra on the cover, making it “the one to have”. It had a high sale of $300 for a CGC 9.8 (presale) with a gross FMV of $68.

#4 STAR WARS #20 | WONDER | 2016 Returning to the list, this issue features the origin of Black Krrsantan’s scar, given to him by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Speculation is very confident that we will now most likely see this battle in the Obi-Wan Disney+ series. It had a high sale of $40 for a raw copy, with a current FMV of $28.

#3 STAR WARS: DARK VADER #1 | WONDER | 2015 The first official appearance of Black Krrsantan seems like a solid investment. While Star Wars has a history of weeding out fan-favorite villains too soon, BK’s reappearance and survival in Episode #3 bodes well for future appearances and the character’s retention of value. Its first appearance had a high sale of $458 for a CGC 9.8 with a current FMV of $48.

#2 Thor #20 | WONDER | 2022 The God of Hammers, freed from Mjolnir, is on the warpath to eventually destroy Odin and the Ten Kingdoms. It’s unclear how this reveal will pan out, but it doesn’t look good for Thor. This week it slipped one spot with a high sell of $37 for a raw copy and a current FMV of $21.

#1 DEATH OF DOCTOR STRANGE: BLOODSTONE #1 – DAVID NAKAYAMA| WONDER | 2022 Taking No. 1 is Lyra Bloodstone’s first appearance with stunning cover art by David Nakayama. It had a high sale of $125 for a CGC 9.8 (presale) with commodities at a FMV of $16.
