Star Wars actor Michael Carter joins star-studded guest list at Blackburn Comic Con

House of the Dragon and Star Wars actor Michael Carter will make a special appearance at Blackburn Comic Con next month.

Michael Carter, who plays Jaehaerys Targaryen in the new Game of Thrones prequel, is one of the exciting guests you may meet at Blackburn Comic Con this year.

This exciting announcement is the latest addition to a star-studded list of the most exciting talents in film and media in the comedy and fantasy genre.

Neil Livesey of Blackburn Comic Con said: “People will have the opportunity to speak to guests during the Q&A, where they can put their questions to the panel, including the possibility of a Doctor Who.

“There will be around 30 stalls selling film merchandise and souvenirs etc.

“We have more announcements coming soon as more guests sign contracts.”

A number of cast members have already been announced and more are yet to come, so fans should keep their eyes peeled.

The confirmed guests for Blackburn Comic Con so far are:

  • Colin Baker known for his role as the Doctor in Doctor Who from 1984 to 1986
  • Gareth David Lloyd who plays Ianto Jones in the Torchwood TV series
  • Wolf Kahler who played Nazi Colonel Herman Dietrich in Raiders of the Lost Ark
  • Hattie Hayridge who played the female version of Holly in Red Dwarf
  • Michael Carter, best known for playing Bib Fortuna in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, and for House of the Dragon airing now on Sky and Now TV.

Blackburn graphic designer Tim Perkins who worked for Marvel, DC and other comic companies will also be at the event.

In terms of attractions, there will be an Indiana Jones temple set, a Gremlins movie set, and Doctor Who’s TARDIS will be set up for fans to explore and take pictures.

The event will take place at Ewood Park from 10.30am to 4.30pm and tickets are available for purchase on line.
