The Walking Dead Deluxe Issue 27 for Local Comic Shop Day November 24

Local Comic Shop Day 2021 will take place on Wednesday, November 24. Skybound announced a Walking Dead cartoon for special day.

The walking dead Deluxe # 27 will feature an aluminum treatment on the cover logo (diamond code AUG219266). Created by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard and Dave McCaig, this is a key issue, Welcome to Woodbury, featuring the Governor, the meanest of The walking dead bad guys.

This unique impression of The walking dead Deluxe # 27 will not be reprinted, so be sure to pick up your copy on the day from the local comic book store.

A nice little anecdote on this problem. In the movie Zombieland: double tap, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) reads a copy and comments on how scary but unrealistic it is.

This will be the second year in a row that Local Comic Shop Day® takes place on a Wednesday. According to ComicPro Executive Director Marco Davanzo, the event has been moved from Saturday to Wednesday as this is the day new comics are traditionally released. The change saw more stores participate and the goal for today is to have more fans in the stores for the holidays.

So far, three items have been announced for Local Comic Shop Day, with more to follow.

JOY OPERATIONS 1, Dark Horse Comics From Peabody and multiple Eisner Award winner Brian Michael Bendis, this Jinxworld comic goes 55 years into the future and features Joy, an ENVOI., A special agent for the Jonando Trust. Stephen Byrne art with a Tyler Boss cover variant.

CHUCK D PRESENTS APOCALYPSE 91 REVOLUTION NEVER SLEEP, Z2 comics. Limited edition graphic novel. Celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Public Enemy album, “Apocalypse 91: The Enemy Strikes Back”.

METALLICA SPECIAL EDITION, 10 Ton Press Reissued to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Metallica’s “Black Album”.
