This week’s list should look VERY familiar to you, as the effects of the SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE teaser helped Spider-Man 2099’s first key issues continue. its dominance on our list. The DOCTOR STRANGE AND THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS trailer helped America Chavez, Sleepwalker, and Rintrah (a Doctor Strange protege in the comics) get on the list. Comicbook.com played a role in the top spot with a possible STAR WARS: TALES OF THE JEDI animated show in the works. For books without content, we get two wonderful variations of the big two. This week’s non-Marvel / DC title goes to famed THE GOOD ASIAN, which lands on multiple “Best of 2021” lists. As we close the year, let’s take action.

#ten STRANGE DOCTOR # 81 | WONDER | 1987 |

This issue features Rintrah’s first full appearance. Initially, this book saw a slight movement with the recent reveal of the Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Doctor Strange figure series in the Multiverse of Madness action figure line, which included a Rintrah figure. Then, in the recent trailer, you see an overview of all the running wizards. One of these wizards understands what appears to be a green horned creature that resembles Rintrah. Collectors have moved on less confirmation. These two factors resulted in a high sale of $ 655 for a CGC 9.8, with a gross FMV of $ 68.

# 9 MACROSS # 1 | COMICO | 1984 |

This issue features Robotech’s first appearance in the comics. If you remember, the film adaptation of the franchise has been in development at Sony Pictures for years. This week it had a high sale of $ 250 for a CGC 9.4, with a FMV of 9.8 of $ 1,054 and a gross FMV of $ 94. This means that someone knows something, or that a Youtube influencer recently mentioned it. Anyway, it’s suddenly hot this week!

# 8 INCARNATE JUSTICE LEAGUE # 2 – KYLE HOTZ – VIRGIN B&W (1:25) | DC | 2021 |

Sometimes a beautiful cover is enough for a trendy book. This 1:25 Kyle Hotz was hard to find in stores, so sending collectors online to help him hit a high sale of $ 50 for a raw copy.

#seven INCREDIBLE SPIDER-MAN # 365 | WONDER | 1992 |

Return on the roster this week (again) in this first appearance of Miguel O’Hara and Spider-Man 2099 (via SPIDER-MAN 2099 preview # 1). That first is still going strong with a high sale of $ 425 for a CGC 9.8 and a gross FMV of $ 21.

# 6 SLEEP # 1 | WONDER | 1991 |

As noted with Rintrah, the recent Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Doctor Strange figure series reveal in the Multiverse of Madness figure line included Sleepwalker. Most of the line features characters appearing in the film and the inclusion of Sleepwalkers, as well as D’Spayre (first in Marvel Team-Up Vol.1 # 68) and Rintrah, increased their first appearances. With speculation on Sleepwalker already, this gave it an extra boost and had a high sale of $ 400 for a CGC 9.8, with a gross FMV of $ 27.

This 2021 headline from Pornsak writer Pichetshote was recently on EW’s Top 10 comics and Fortune Magazine Top 10 books of the year (and TONS of others). This spotlight on its quality and cultural significance saw it enter the Top 10 for the first time. This week it hit a high sale of $ 20 for a raw copy.

Once again, this ongoing first Spider-Man 2099 series also returns to the list as it continues its upward trajectory with a high sale of $ 269 for a CGC 9.8 and a gross FMV of $ 25.

# 2 AVENGERS FOREVER # 1 BETSY COLA (1:25) | WONDER | 2021 |

When you’ve got all of the promising female stars of the MCU on a well-done tribute from artist Betsy Cola, it’s no wonder it hit a high sale of $ 45 for a raw copy.

# 1 STAR WARS: TALES OF THE JEDI # 1 | BLACK HORSE | 1993 |

This issue presents the first appearances of Ulic Qel-Droma & Cay Qel-Droma. However, that is not why this book is in fashion. By Comicbook.com, “but new details have emerged that Lucasfilm may be developing another animation project in the form of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. Images have surfaced online featuring the employee giveaway from Lucasfilm, with its packaging featuring the logos of projects the studio has developed this year. ” Other sources ran with this and helped it hit a high sale of $ 174.99 for a CGC 9.8 with a gross FMV of $ 27.
