#1: MEN OMEGA #3 | CC | 1983 | The recent mentions of James Gunn and Jason Mamoa on Lobowere are exciting enough that the heat of the Main Man market helped his first appearance hold the No. 1 spot two weeks in a row. Although confirmation will take some time, for now fans understand this more than they ever have before. This week we tracked it to a high sale of $380 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a $75 NM FMV.

#2: THE SPECTRUM #54 | CC | 1997 | And back to back, we have ANOTHER James Gunn-related pic. Last week, Gunn shared an image of Mr. Terrific on Instagram. There was no additional information, but this news was enough to dust off Mr. Terrific’s first appearance in this issue. It’s got DC fans buzzing with anticipation. We tracked it to a high sale of $150 for a CGC 9.6 copy and a $90 FMV NM gross.

#3: ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK #1 – DECLAN SHALVEY | BOOM! STUDIOS | 2014 | It was recently announced that 20th Century Studios would relaunch John Carpenter’s film ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK. Despite pockets of market fatigue, we still see the trend in comics for properties whose origins never came from the comics industry. However, this Boom 2014! The series was the first time the 1981 film received a comic book adaptation. We tracked it to a high sale of $25 for a raw copy, with a current NM FMV of $15.

#4: WHITE TIGER #1 | WONDER | 2007 | Recently leaked (and partially speculated) news has circulated that White Tiger will be joining the cast of Disney+’s DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN series. While that makes sense, it’s still undetermined which iteration. Some sources point directly to the possible casting of Jenny Ortega (also unconfirmed) as Angela Del Toro. Del Toro first appeared in Daredevil #58, then in full costume in White Tiger #1. However, if White Tiger appears, she could also potentially play Ava Ayala, who first appeared in 2011. Avengers Academy #20. Both books are trending, but Del Toro’s version holds a Top 10 spot with a high sale of $300 for a CGC 9.8 copy and an FMV NM gross of $21.

#5: INCREDIBLE SPIDER-MAN #4 – HUMBERTO RAMOS | WONDER | 2014 | Recent news from Silk about a showrunner in Angela Kang and the series slated to appear on MGM+ and Amazon Prime sent Cindy Moon’s first appearance as Silk in 5th place. Although MGM+ has fans worried, we’ll have to wait and see how it pans out. With renewed heat in the market, we trailed it to a high sale of $295 for a CGC 9.8 copy and an FMV NM gross of $115.

#6: DEADPOOL #1 – KEN LASHLEY – THE PORTAGE – NOTORIOUS BIG | WONDER | 2022 | This first appearance of Notorious BIG in a Marvel comic FINALLY sold out at THE HAUL. With a confirmed print run of 3,000 copies, we expected that to drop as buyers received their copies. Yet, oddly, it seems to go up! 3K is a big draw, so we’ll have to watch that over the next few weeks and see how it plays out. We tracked it to a high sale of $80 for a raw copy and a current FMV of $65.

#seven: SILK #1 | WONDER | 2015 | Silk heat continues with this first solo series. As her first appearance climbs in price again, this was one of the next key issues for Cindy Moon. We tracked it to a high sale of $112 for a CGC 9.8 copy, with a gross NM FMV of $25.

#8: BLACK PANTHER #2 | WONDER | 2005 | Shuri’s first appearance is sinking her claws to hold on to a TOP 10 spot. Her first appearance continues to trend as fans see long-term potential in her character. We tracked it to a high sale of $351 for a CGC 9.8 copy and an FMV NM gross of $103.

#9: STAR WARS: HIDDEN EMPIRE #1 – ARTHUR ADAMS (1:50) | WONDER | 2022 | At first glance, this issue features a gorgeous Art Adams 1:50 variant featuring Darth Maul. Still, dig a little deeper, and it also features Iden Versio’s first cameo comic book appearance. Iden should be familiar to fans of Star Wars video games, as she was a playable character in Star Wars Battlefront II in 2017. It helped this 1:50 to trend towards a high sale of $80 for a raw copy and currently sitting at a $64 NM FMV. It’s worth noting that, despite only trending at cover price, the standard issue is already the second best-selling secondary market book of the week and is quickly overtaking the first, Omega Men #3.

#ten: BLADE: VAMPIRE NATION #1 – GABRIELE DELL OTTO (1:25) | WONDER | 2022 | This recently released incentive variant was a hard-to-find book in stores.
